check out my adjustable 700 stock
« on: January 08, 2007, 08:57:55 AM »
i just finished this rem mdl 700 bdl/dm stockl,I cut off the required end of the stock and bedded 2 aluminum threaded cylinders into it using theproduct liquid plastic, the center post threads in and out to your required length, then the upper post threads through using an allen head threaded stud that can be turned by inserting the wrench in through the rear of the limbsaver recoil pad, this upper stud locks the piece in place and provides added support, the entire rear of this stock has been filled with the liquid plastic and it couldnt be more rigid.I bedded the stock using the same material and the piece is SOLID.Let me know what you think I have been thinking about this project for over a year now and finally got a chance to get it done.

Wow, that is pretty cool! I wonder how the recoil is affected now though, that you have metal against the R3 as opposed to just synthetic stock against the R3... ???
