If you don't want to cut and re-weld the bolt, or have that done, then a scout style mount will be best, I would think. 

If you are going to cut and weld the bolt then a mount to the action should be to your liking.  I used a similar mount with a British 303 and found that where locking screws butted against the action I needed to 'dimple' that spot with a small drill bit to assure the mount did not come loose or ride up the action.  After that she worked fine and still does.  HTH.  Mikey.
