I've never done it but I understand they will come to the sound of a coon fight. I have had them come in at night to a rabbit distress but only infrequently.

Coons are very easy to call at night, but they're a little hard in the daytime unless you set up very close to a den. I hunt'em at night by starting with a high pitched bird sound, then switching over to a coon fight after about 5-10 minutes.
