Cleaning USH between shots

When sighting in my 12ga USH, how often do you recommend cleaning between shots.  I am struggling with accuracy at 100 yds.

Struggling w/ accuracy @ 100 yds w/ a slug gun? No kidding?

Sorry... I couldn't resist.  :P What kind of sights are you using? And what kind of accuracy are you getting... in other words, what are you calling "struggling"? I ask because it seems alot of people have what I consider unrealistic expectations regarding the accuracy of thier slug guns.

You really shouldn't need to worry about cleaning it till you get it home...

A 2" or 3" group is usually achievable with the USH and some folks have done better than that. What do you call Struggling? What loads are you using? what optics? Have you shot foster slugs through the barrel? Can you see any fowling in the bore? Is the crown OK? How did you mount the scope? I'm sure I missed some other pertainant questions that someone will me of.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun
