Anyone seen the new 4X4
« on: March 08, 2007, 06:36:00 AM »
Mossberg has really expanded their line of rifles. Has anyone seen the new 4X4 series? They have some interesting configurations and stocks. They've also added more calibers to the line up. I haven't seen one in person yet, but I wouldn't mind looking at one.

Just looked at it on the website.....I'm not too partial to walnut stocks on a using rifle, but that thing is pretty neat looking.  Definitely a different style, for sure.  I'd like to handle one to see how it feels.

Oh cool!    8)  The page didn't load all of the way when I looked at it before.  Man, those are just too neat.  I can tell that I'll need to fondle a couple of them......

I handled one at the local Academy and they're very solid.  I've read an article in shooting times and it got great reviews.

I have the black synthetic with the marine coat barrel. its a solid gun. it was very easy to scope in and the recoil for the 300 win mag was very very manageable. the only down side is a very heavy trigger. but i am very happy with it.
