Williams list the WGRS for CVA octogon barrels.

Give the folks at Williams gun sight a try. They have a model 57 that fits many rifles.

I have delt with these people many a time and found them fair in their prices and services.

This is the Williams WGRS mounted on my CVA St. Louis Hawken.  The gunsmith wouldn't drill the forward hole.  He thought it would be ok to D&T the rear hole and then Gorilla Glue everything down.  It's been there for 2 years now and hasn't moved.

You might also investigate the Thompson/Center hunting tang peep sight. I put one on my Lyman GPH, after being advised that it's  more "field-friendly" than the Lyman peep I originally put on the rifle..........and it is.........lower profile; much less likely for things to snag on it...........might work, JD45

Jd, the CVA is kind of unique to most muzzleloaders.  If the Bobcat is like the other CVA rifles, the tang is very short and very straight.  There's not enough length or drop to mount one of the TC peeps.

Ironwood..........OK, I wasn't aware of that. Well, you can't go wrong with Williams. I've got an FP receiver sight on my 1892 replica rifle, & love it! JD45
