Arrows / timp
« on: January 10, 2007, 10:09:05 AM »
Has anyone used a flu flu arrow from a Xbow?

Also has anyone used a bird tip on a little longer arrow?

The reason I am asking is I have a flu flu arrow and a bird point that I was thinking about cutting down and remaking for a xbow

Doubt if a fluflu arrow would work due to the feathers. A bird point are you thinking of those snare tips? I suppose they would work if they stuck out far enough past the stirrup or cleared the stirrup. It would all depend on how the arrow balanced as to how well it would shoot. I have shot judo points well in my xbow and digger has shot those add on bird head things that go on behind a broadhead or a field point that are called keepers I think that keep the arrow from going completely through a bird.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
