I asked GB to change our name to the Eastern Big Game forum. To avoid conflict with the Western Big game forum. What do you think?

Hunting Ontario is much the same as hunting Michigan, from what I understand. Except it's more likely to snow durring moose season, and almost guaranteed to snow during deer season.
Unfortunately, no Polar Bear season in this province.
The bush may be a bit thicker too. I think our trees are shorter. The farm country hunters use tree stands. They are little use in the northern bush. The canopy is too low, and the terrain too hilly and rough. Limits visibility.

It probably better reflects what goes on here, but I wonder where threads that deal generally with big game hunting will be posted (as if we have any of those).
Hunting is Exciting!  Bolt actions are BORING!!
Don't mix the two!
