portable reloading stand
« on: April 25, 2003, 07:17:42 AM »
I am looking for plans to build a portable reloading stand to load at the range or out of the back of a pickup.  I will be using a T7 press and also hand dies.  Thanks

Portable Reloading

When I was first married and was living in a small apartment, I used a Black & Decker Workmate and just bolted a plywood top to it with the press and powder measure installed.  When I finished reloading, everything folded up and went under the bed.  I still have that Workmate after 31 years (same wife, too).  The Workmate is a handy item.

I don't use a "portable" stand. I just use a removable one on my reloading bench. I bolted the press and powder measure to a 2 by 6 and c-clamp it to my work bench. I imagine that a similar and simple approach will work for you.
