Brass in the forehead
«

I have two 94`s: .45LC and 30-30.
From the 30-30 - I get the brass in the forehead when reloading. Not so with the .45.
Someone who have the same problem?
And maybe a little "trick" which can be used to solve the problem?

Get a Marlin (side eject)
Just Kidding. Sorry, could resist.
No ideas here, though. maybe don't eject as fast?

Try Wearing glasses and it drops a hot piece of brass down between
your glasses and your cheek ! Fun, Fun, I assure you ! Try wearing a base ball cap
when shooting at the range, the bill of the cap will deflect most of them.

We are talking from the top eject port? Try aiming the rifle down when you eject the cartridge. Tilt it away from you if necessary.

"Try aiming the rifle down when you eject the cartridge. Tilt it away from you if necessary"
In a hunting situation?
The solution must be - to put the rifle away - and use something else

Let me guess, it has that angle eject? The only 94 I fire has the old top eject and I don't fire it much as it is a Classic. I use my Marlin as my shooting rifle.

File a thousanth of an inch off the front of the ejector. Simply touching a dremel with a small wheel to it sometimes does the trick.
