Given the twist rate on the Whelen barrels just how heavy of a bullet are you whelen shooters useing?
From what I understand the 1 and 16 twist is better suited for the lighter bullets. Around 225gr

Thanks.
The 250's seem to do pretty well any plans to load any heavier?
I can't think of a reason for a bigger bullet but you know how it is. ;D

Not really, the 405 Win and 45-70 take care of that business!! ;D Workin on 225gr TSX in the Whelen now, velocity is at 2895fps, still no pressure signs with the same load as Matt's, but accuracy is only 1½moa, need to up the powder a bit or experiment with seating depth, or both, one at a time of course! ;)
