Picked up more gear to get me on the shooting range
« on: December 30, 2006, 03:12:37 PM »
today I  went to a larger gun shop and bought more muzzle loading gear I needed... and just wanted.

some 250 grain Hornady sabot with the red ballistic tips
a wire brush and cleaning cloth brush
a round ball type starter round works better for me on the hands
a bag of 200 cleaning patches
a pyrodex capper to screw on the large bottle to make a smaller MESS....
and a new powder measure
and two used powder measures for spares ... two have the funnel on tip that slides to the side and other has the funnel that swivels to the side. Both are from 5-120

and the small powder measure is a 50-120 grain basic unit.

So I hope to find bro bored tomorrow and willing to go fire off some rounds with me.

I have two ammo's to try out some 230 grain seirra 45 caliber pistol JHP's

and these 250 grain Hornady with pylimor tips...

I have some 3/8 thick steel and some 3/4 thick steel bar bell weights and some of them stick on targets that show exact impact zone.....

I wish I knew more about Uploading video to the computer as I could film us shooting with the 8mm and upload for all to  see and hear the plinking and see some smoke... along with happy faces...

god bless all and safe shooting.
