Has anyone tried the Romanian 8 mm ammo? Seen some for sale at a good price, 760 rds. for $44.95.
Said it was 1970-1974 production, steel case, FMJ.

I tried it. It all went bang. Actually it's pretty fair ammo. Shoots a little high for the sights on a Yugo M48; but not enough to worry about. It does have a good crack to it. My favorite of the Turk, Romanian and German is the Nazi stuff from J & G. It shoots to the sight settings and with real authority.
