I was on the Goex website and see that they have F,FF,FFF,FFFF, cartridge, and cannon powder.
What is different in the cannon powder compared to the F-FFFF powders?
---------and what brand and grade powders do you use?

Cannon is the coarsest, slowest burning.
Others may have a more technical definition.

Cannon is much larger. The more f's the finer it is.
I am using cannon grade in my golf ball mortar because I have it although 1f is better. I am using 3f in my little 2oz. howitzer.

Yes, the more f's, the finer the powder, The "g" at the end means it is glazed with graphite, an allotropic state of carbon. Makes it look pretty.
