92 .32 RF/CF
« on: December 31, 2006, 02:33:41 PM »
I picked this nice little gun up 5-6 years ago with the intent of coverting it to .32 S&W (MAYBE H&R?).  It has the same type of loading through the magazine tube as the new versions, like a .22 tube fed rifle.  I've e-mailed some guys that have done this simply by re-chambering it, a pretty simple conversion.  My only concerns are the bore size is a bit tighter than the Ruger .32's (.309" vs .312") and the value of the gun as is.  I might sell it and get the new .32 H&R version for my daughter to use for SASS matches.  8)

As I already have the gun it would be much few $$'s to re-chamber and less hassle than getting a new rifle.  But then ....

Any opions about this out there? ???
