The death of a hunter from Jordan is now under investigation in Rice County.
Police were called to the scene at 37th Ave. and Farwell Ave. near the town of Webster around 12:15 Saturday afternoon. They say a 26-year-old man from Jordan was shot while hunting in that area. He later died from his wounds at the scene.
The man was in a hunting party with about ten other people. The group was hunting coyotes.
It's not yet clear who shot the man. An autopsy will be performed on the body, and the Rice County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. The victim's name has not been released.
NO GOOD!!!! Keep this stuff up and the new Minnesota Democratic House/Senate going to start passing laws to protect ourselves.
