« on: January 17, 2007, 08:21:11 PM »
Could someone tell me their favorite lee mould for 45 long colt in the ruger old army?
(Kirst Konverter)

Also, is the dia. .452 on the long colt?

Thanks!

This is the bullet:

I have the the R & D converter:

Up to now, I am having fun with Unique 8.0 grains at 925 fps

Le me know of your tests.

I use the same load with a WLP primer in both my ROA 5 1/2 SS with an R&D conversion and Blackhawk Convertible.  It shoots to point of aim with the fixed sights of the ROA and I have zeroed my Blackhawk with the same load.  Enjoy!  I have put close to a thousands rounds of this load thru the ROA with no problem.
