Well, I don't know but if you had both you could find out if there was a difference you cared about, then sell the one you didn't want in the classifieds.
The SS one might shoot cooler in the direct sun, as in a PD town...definately should cool down faster, just the reflective SS would shed heat faster than the darker blued steel.
