cross post---7.62x39 and .310 VMAX

Has anyone used the .310 VMAX 123 gr bullet in the 7.62x39 on a game animal?  The bullet has a pretty big base for a VMAX so I was wondering.  It would only be going 2300 FPS or so. 

"Spinafish" replied on the Handloading Forum about some others who used the 110 VMAX .277 bullet in the 6.8 SPC on deer.  Having shot the 110 in the 270 Winchester I was thinking that the slower Russian speed might keep it from just blowing up.  Obviously, this is a questionable choice of rounds, like the age old .223 vs deer arguement. 

Just wondering if Robert or anyone had experience or opinions on it.  If not then the 123 Hornady SP is next choice.

I would imagine the bullet toughness is about the same as the standard Hornady 123 grain bullet.  Neither of these bullets are interlocks, so a plastic tipped bullet would have to be called a V-Max (rather than an SST) using Hornadys naming system.

The only thing that I have shot with the 7.62x39 using the 110 vmax .308 was a wood chuck and it made a good size hole, in fact the other side of his head was gone "the exit side".
