PETA, I think you all know who these jokers are, has really been involved with some hidious acts over the years but this website and the information shared here was actually disturbing to me. It's simply amazing that the media has not made more of this situation.

If you have ever had a debate with a PETA follower, save this website. I promise you it will change, or at least give them some shock and horror about their organization! There are some disturbing photo's on this site as well.  Pet lovers take note and use your judgement.

Not counting the pets PETA spayed and neutered, the group put to death over 90 percent of the animals it took in during 2005. And its angel-of-death pattern shows no sign of changing.

There are actually two PETA members/employees on trial in North Carolina for animal cruelty. A cop saw them dumping animal bodies in a dumpster and stopped them. He found something like a total of 13 in the dumpster and in the van that they were driving (PETA owned by the way). Turns out they had been making the rounds to animal shelters telling folks they were collecting animals that needed adoption and were going to get them to homes. They then injected them with sodium pentobarbitol "to sedate them for the drive." A DEA agent testified that PETA doesn't have federal license to handle controlled substances in NC. They're in a heap of trouble, but there doesn't seem to be as much news coverage as we would like, exposing PETA for who they are.

I seem to recall PETA being very critical of the Humane Society's euthanasia policies in the past. Anyone else remember this?

    you can find a petition on this site, urging the U.S. Department of treasury to take away Peta's non profit chirity organization tax status.  unlike peta members I am not going to tell you you should sign it, but I did and think others here may be interested to know.  the liberals took away mourning dove hunting in michigan with a petition, based on lies, mabe we can fiht back.....

PETA workers end with split verdict in trial
WINTON, N.C. (AP)- A jury cleared two animal rights workers of animal cruelty charges Friday for euthanizing cats and dogs they took from shelters, but both were convicted of littering for dumping the carcasses in a trash bin.

The story goes on to say that one was cleared of 3 felony charges of "obtaining property by false pretenses."  Both got a suspended 10 day prison sentence, supervised probation, $4000 fine each, 50 hours community service and their van was confiscated.  I guess that's about what most judges in this country would give for poaching.

After reading the whole trial I have to conclude, based on PETA's defense, that their stand is that killing an animal (hunting for expample) is legal and ethical as long as the intent is to kill the animal and not just to inflict pain.

Dang, I can not believe I agree with PETA on an issue.

I just don't understand how they got off on the "obtaining property by false pretenses" charges. Her testimony regarding mailing back the photos of Lucky should have been proof enough on her charges.

Well, PETA's name makes no mention of cruelty, but it does contain the word "ethical". I believe lying is unethical, and I would not consider it ethical to casually discard, in some random dumpster, the remains of animals killed by lethal injection.

What a bunch of scam-artists.
