connibear boxes
« on: December 20, 2006, 04:14:26 PM »
hey guys-
new to trapping and was wondering the size of boxes to make for the 220 connibear.  I plan on targeting coon, however not interested in using 5 gallon buckets for my sets, as trap theft is very high in my area.  I plan on making the boxes out of plywood to help camo. them a little better.  thanks

9"X9"X18" should work well.

I use square buckets, go to Wal-mart and get you some cheap paint [brown, black and green] paint your buckets camo color make sure the inside is painted and it makes them hard to see.

also when you cut your notch in the bucket make sure it is narrow and it will hold the conobear tight
