New scope on long range hunter

just got my new long range hunter . want to put a scope on it , i read someware that leatherwood has a new muzzle loader scope that a lot better than the nikon omega scope , where can i see one , or can i have some view no on it ,

This will give you some information, just remember they are also one of the sponsors to that site. The Nikon scopes are VERY nice scopes, but I have no experience with either of these two models.

I can not comment on the leatherwood but the Nikon is nice.

I'll start by saying my dedicated LR ML has a Leatherwood range-compensating scope on it that works well (not the type currently sold).  That being said, Nikon scopes have higher quality optics than Leatherwood overall.  The difference is that the Leatherwoods has extra lines so that your range-compensating aiming point is a crosshair.  I'm told the Nikon Omega has circles, which are a less precise.  So which is more important?  That's the individual decision.

There simulated hold for a 200 yard shot on a whitetail buck with the Nikon BDC reticle of the "Omega"  is way off. I have a Nikon Omega BDC scope and at 200 yards it just covers a 4 inch clay pigeon.

Notice they said "simulated hold"   :)
