Question about stock and forearm on old frame
« on: January 05, 2007, 05:28:30 PM »
I have a contender pistole circa mid 70's, I'm thinking about buying a carbine barrel or two. Will G2 or encore stocks and forearm fit or only older contender stocks and forarms?

Thanks,
Terry

Only older contender buttstocks will fit.  Bullberry had the synthetic ones for $30 recently, may still have some left.

For the forend, you need to use the forend for the barrel.  If you get a 21" tapered barrel, you need the old style forend, if you get a G2 barrel (usually 23"), you need the G2 carbine forend.
