trophy ridge Universal EZ
« on: January 08, 2007, 05:41:48 PM »
Has anyone used this sight.  I do alot of spot and stock and many of the fiberoptic sights just dont stand up to the punishment.  This looks like it might be simple and tough enough, as well as utilizing the in line technology.  Also I have only seen pictures, so any comments as to the pin locking set-up...I am a little concerned that the set screws may just lock into the plastic of the standard trophy ridge pins...thanks

I bought a Trophy Ridge 3 pin Matrix Micro Pin about 3 years ago and this year it broke. I called TR and they said they were aware of a design flaw and replaced it with the newer stronger version. It has been a good sight thus far overall and I expect to have for quite some time. I shoot a very fast speed and iproduces a lot of shock. BTW TR sent the replacement at no cost, not even S&H and even threw in a low light kit. I like the vertical pins but must admit they did take a bit of getting use to.
