old style contender with g2 bull barrel.need a forend

have a old style tc contender with a 17 rem.21 inch barrel.in synthetic rifle stock set.ordered a 221 fireball bull barrel 23in.problem is the forend wont fit on the 23in.barrel.
is their a forend thats available that would fit the old style rifle frame,fit the new style g 2 23 in.bull barrel?checked on search form here for a answer.got none.midway usa site doesnt  have the info on the forends they stock.thanks

the difference is the older barrel has a taper..the newer barrel doesn't..you could open the barrel channel up with a dowel rod covered with sand paper..or you'll need to find one for a bull barrel.

I think you need a G2 Carbine Forend, call T/C and ask, they will answer the question.
