We have one in St. Paul, MN near the stockyards. I used to go there to check out their military surplus ammo and guns. Then I went in there a few years ago just before deer hunting season, and what a change. They stopped carrying guns completely, here it was just before deer opener and nobody was in the place except for 3 other customers in the whole big building. In the retail gun business, you use the guns as a lure to get the customers in to buy the high markup merchandise like the clothes, etc. The guns don't pay, accessories do.
Then they decided to sell ammo only through a catalog. I got one of their catalogs a few months ago, and now they won't even sell ammo. Just clothing. I question whether they will be around in a few years as everybody sells jackets and pants. :?
