Trigger Job on Pro Hunter
« on: December 28, 2006, 07:32:33 AM »
I just received a TC Pro Hunter for Christmas.  I want to have a trigger job done on this rifle.  In everyone's opinion, who does the best job and what else should I consider doing to the rifle.  Right now it has the .50 Muzzleloader barrel on it, however, in the very near future I will be purchasing the .375 H&H and the 25-06.

You can order spring kits for your new encore and do it yourself. It's not very hard, just take your time. Most places offer a set of spring pliers with the kits. This will make the job a lot easier.

One of my buddies just got his PH trigger done by MGM. He also had them make a custom .338 Ultra Mag barrel for it and they bedded the forearm. He says it is shooting 5/8" groups @ 100 yds. with handloads.
