help needed with antique BB gun
« on: February 10, 2007, 01:02:50 AM »
I got a very old BB gun when my wifes grandfather passed away.  On the breech end is very hard to read printing.  I think it says this is a Benjiman Model E.  A few patent numbers that look like 1893, 1902 and 1904.  Kind of a goofy looking old thing and it DOES NOT WORK.  I've had it stuck in a closet for a long time, but should do something smarter than that with the gun.  I could hang it on my wall or maybe donate it to a museum.  Recently, someone offered me $50 for it.  He wants to try to rebuild it.  What do you think?  Jim
