It's kind of subjective thing with recoil and how the stock fits you. A .375 H&H is not that bad, just don't expect to shoot from the bench more then one box. The one I used to have was very very accurate. It was a later model with black buttpad. My limit was with the .458 win mag, having had rotory-cuff surgery about 5 years ago, it was just too much even shooting offhand. That one was one of the older models with a red buttpad. Never did well group wise with that rifle, believe that flinching was more the problem then the rifle.
