quick detatch rings for omega. who makes the best ones?

I'm thinking of trying a set of qd rings on my omega but I have never used them before. Who makes some good one's. I have been looking at the leupold,and maxium ones. I think it would make cleaning a little easier if you could take the scope off.

My only concern is that when the scope is removed and replaced that it might not return to zero.

What do the pro's have to say?

I have sent in 3 sets of QD rings to Leupold that failed. I The last time I returned them, I told them to replace them with permanent rings. No more problem. I won't use the Leupold QD rings. No I have a set of Warne/Maxima QD and have not had a problem. The Warne/Maxima is what I would recommend.

Another vote for Warne QR rings. I have them on the Super 91/Sightron scope and the regular Warne rings on the Encore/Leupold scope.  The QR rings were on the Encore then I switched them when I got the White.  No problems for me either.

What I like to do prior to hunting, just to ease the mind, is after you find the sweet load at the range,  when hunting seasons approach shoot it to confirm the rifle is still on and leave the scope on until after the season or when cleaning is needed, but thats just me its probably not needed.

I prefer Warne QR Rings. Best QR rings on the market. I've never had them fail to return to zero.

Thanks alot guys i'll try a set of warne QD rings. I have the omega in lawawy right now so i'll go ahead and pich up a set of rings so i'll be ready when iI get my rifle out.

Depending on the size of the scope, medium rings should work.  The Leupold and Sightron are 40-3X9 and the medium rings just do clear the rear sights perfect.
