How well do you shoot?  My guess is that the Ruger in what ever caliber you choose with the right load will be as accurate as you are.

It depends on the ammo and your gun. I have a 5.5" Vaquero that will put all six in the same ragged hole with Magtech 240-gr SJSP. It shoots pretty good with other brands, but that's its favorite. Every gun is different, so you just gotta experiment.

 :)The guys in the magazines when they test SA guns, get anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 groups. This is not exact. This is a rough average based on a number of variables. Hunman55

I have a sbh 44mag with a 7 1/2 barrel and it shoots anything as good as I can shoot.  I really like it. :)
