Hawkeye replacing the 77 MkII?
« on: January 30, 2007, 06:56:41 AM »
Sorry if I am asking a question that might have been discussed, but anyway........

I have heard about the new Hawkeye, but I was not aware that it would replace the current offering of 77 MkII's.  I believe that has been stated somewhere on the forums.  Is that the case?

As far as I have seen, the only changes are the triggers and stock profiles, and metal finish's.  Only other change is caliber offerings, 280 will only be had in stainless/syn, 257 roberts in blue steel/wood, all other calibers are to be both blued steel and stainless.

I dont know about all the changes but if all goes well I should be looking at a blue wood 7mm/08 by the weekend or monday depending on delivery. I might get a divorce over it lol. Finally went to the local sporting good store and they found one , none on their shelves yet.
