anybody used this bullet or know anything about it

got these  on a deal and he said  he boughtthem ready to load , ive never seen a cast lead with out a lube in them? they are coated with a sticky lube , hate to load some an find out they needed lubed??

BJH bullets are supposed to be good, I've seen posts about em in the Traditioinal ML forum.

well these are a 38 cal bullet, for 38 spl, pistols, so iwondered why they arent lubed? either soft or hard ,

Sticky?  Sounds like liquid alox....  I bet they small bad too.  I would not push them too fast in fear of all the leading and no gas checks.

Here they are, slightly different weight depending on hardness I suppose.

tim u are the wiz i looked forthem online could come up with anything , yep t hats them? guess they  dont have to have the lube groove  filled ? aint that something,

I looked into the Black Jack Hill company before, and they don't do the traditional lube in the grooves, they will do Lee liquid alox, which if there is more than just a slight amount, will be a brown color....really good lube if you've never tried it, and works even if there is no lube in the grooves.  From everything I've heard, it sounds as if BJH is a great company to deal with, and they responded very quick to questions I've had about making cast bullets.  Good luck shaner.

yeah i emailed them this evening , i got the bullets  from a deal ,and just hadnt seen the lubed  like that? i just figured the groove needed filled with  lube ,  thanks cattleskinner yu dry up thata way???
