First off, this is my first post. I have been reading all the old post for the Nef/H&r topics and have really enjoyed them. Some of you guys really know your stuff with these great little rifles. I have had a couple nef rifles over the years, but don't have one as of now. I found a new 450 marlin laminated stock bull barrel at a pawn shop near me for $219. He said he would take $200 out the door for it, it had been on the shelf for a long time. I like it!!!!! I am going to buy it friday and would like some ideas about making it 1 of a kind. I think i want to chop it off at 18", flute it, muzzle brake, maybe cut out some of the stock. Here is a pic of what i am thinking about. Do any of you have any advice, pictures or such for me to ponder?
