I know of no replicas of this being produced, I am not sure of what I saw a while back but it was an SMLE with a short barrel (silenced Also) and fired a .45 auto round. Do not know (nor do I wish to)
what you may want this for, But the SMLE may be another option. Why this thing is even in the weapons room is beyond me? it is very outdated to say the least. It is very quiet though.

If you're so offended by that pistol I could find a good home for it. ;D I have never seen one like that before and I'm pretty sure the story or stories behind its design and usage would be pretty interesting.

Trenchmud, I have seen that weapon before ! string tag and all at the muzzle.
We have apparently trod some of the same ground. I am sure he would be Skinned alive, Drawn and quartered and burned at the stake if that weapon ever left the facility it is in. (or if you get caught with a camera in there  8)) You work in Marietta Georgia don't you?
The Welrod was made in several calibers but was mostly in 7.65 and 9mm.
Most were made by BSA and were dropped to resistance fighters much in the same way the "Liberator"
pistol was by the U.S. during WWII and the "Deer" pistol was in later wars.

I do believe the SMLE referred to by TrenchMud would be the DeLisle carbine? Shortened suppressed enfield in .45 acp. For "sentry removal" IIRC.

   I do not work for that part of the government anymore but I can assure you that you would loose your clearance if you got caught. (at the very least) It's Not worth it .... Would be nice to have some of that stuff in a collection at home though wouldn't it?
Be careful in that place and ALWAYS wear your radiation badge. We had a guy get
lit up pretty bad when I was there. RAD badge went black in about 20 seconds.

p.s. There is some HUGE bass in that little lake on the back side of the facility  ;)
    The white Jitterbug snagged on the stump in the middle was mine >:(
