help,Bullbury barrel

Hay guys i just got a used Bullbury barrel and dont know how to set it up.What do you do with the bar under the forarm?.
 Is it for free floating the forearm?,and if so how do you go about it?.Its a 270,24"er.Any one have a Bullbury in that cal?.If you do, whats a good load to start out with?.A good deer and bear load would be great!.Also,i would like to shoot chucks at long ranges with it.Any and all advice is welcome.Thanks.pan.

that bar is used with their forearm to float the barrel. If the barrel is an Encore you will need to get the hanger bar forearm.

Something is confuseing here.The barrel is a Bullbery,with the bar,and it goes on a Encore frame.Now, how do you set it up?
Do you leave the hanger bar loose or do you keep it tight?,or,do you tighten the hanger bar down, and put a washer or something else between the hanger bar and the forearm?.Thanks for the quick response,i just dont understand what you are trying to tell me, OR,am i missing any parts?.thanks again pan.

I can only assume that the Bullberry hanger bar system for the Encore works like the Pachmeyer hanger bar system for my Contender work.   If not one of the Encore folks will let us know for sure.

The hanger bar bolts tight to the barrel, then the forearm screws tight to the hanger bar.  With the rubber forearm there is no need to float the barrel.  I had thought the forearm on the Bullberry would float the barrel without a spacer.  If it doesn't I would try a rubber O ring or a couple of washers.

I have a bullberry barrel and forend. My understanding is that if you want to use your Bullberry barrel with a T/C forend, all you have to do is remove the hanger bar - the screwholes will then mate with the T/C holes.

not always so. If it is an Encore barrel and has the dovetail studs like the contender barrels. it will not work with factory barrel

Davem,i believe that Utah has it rite.If i were to remove the dovetailed nuts,then i would only have one screw hole to hpld the forearm down,not only that,the screw wouldnt have no nut or taped screw hole to screw into,.
