Any new variations coming out soon?  Lipseys, Davidson's?

I know Ruger has said they're going to cut down on these distributor editions so that they can concentrate on getting more cataloged items into the marketplace.  I'm to find out a couple of these special runs quite soon but have doubts that a new Hunter is among them.   I'd been told by a Ruger engineer once that a .32 magnum wasn't going to happen (this was after the .22 Hunter came out) duwe to the threads/frame mating - evidentaly they take a different approach than with non-Hunters.   With that, the only addition I could see realisticly would be a .357 Hunter.  That I'd really like.  I'll try and tap my contacts.

Sorry that it took me a couple days. My local shop owner was at the SHOT Show and closed the doors for a week. I went back today and checked it out again. It's not a convertible 17/17,it's chambered for 17HMR. If interested let me know and I'll get ya the info. The shop is in Va.,so if you're out of state, you'll have to do the transfer thing.

Thank you for the effort.  I have the 17.  I THINK the 17/17 and an original are all that I need.
