lanyard ring??

i got me a stainless vaquero that i have had forever
i have had extensive custom work done to it mostly internally
i have had it beadblasted and have a nice aged set of stags on it
im planning to have it engraved sometime this year
i think i would like to have a lanyard ring installed and put me a rawhide hangmans noose on it
wonder iffin it would get in the way of spinning??
i twirl this old hogleg and sling it all around reckon it would mess me up?

I say go for it, I love lanyard rings.  I have been on a search for another source than Bowen, do you know of any other places to get a lanyard ring.

I would like some lanyard rings for my S&W's but I cannot stand Bowens price and cannot find anything on Numrich's websight other than some oddball thing that I cannot figure out how it could be used on a revolver.

 :)Bullseye, if you have access to it, look in the Numrich GP cat., p. 1162. It has a lanyard swivel(factory original, blued steel. stem measures .480" long x .190" O.D. Item # 536850 $6.40. My cat. is about 3 years old-the price may be higher. Hunman55

I went and searched the Numrichs E-Gunparts.com for lanyard swivels and found quite a few, many surplus revolver types and some new, all in blue though.  Im going to look harder for another stainless option. Maybe just get one nickel plated? Hope it helps.
