Well it is hard to say for sure. It is a great round, but we have seen great rounds go down the tubes before. There are signs that we may see some new interest. Target & Tactical shooters are using it more & more. More than a few are screwing off a 308 tube and installing a 260. Up to 500 yards they are tit for tat, but @ 600 and beyond the 260 pulls ahead as the range increases. It is true that these type of shooters are a minority, but 1 Tar/tact guy will shoot more rounds in a year than 20 average Deer hunters. This translates to more bullets, ammo & brass being offered. Nosler is also now offering brass & Black Hills will be offering a match round very soon. I believe other ammo will follow. Alot of these guys hunt too & their use of the round long term will mean more hunters doing the same, or it usually does. I am looking at a HB bolt gun in this soon.
So to me it is pivoting from a no to a go, I believe, but it is not etched in stone.
BTW, Conley has some.
