The late season ended Saturday. I have my late season stand on the edge of a hollow where the deer normally bed down. They like to take advantage of the early morning sun on the eastern exposure. This year was so warm here nothing went as normal. Temps in the 50's and 60's when we normally are seeing 20's and 30's. I normally don't hunt much in the early season and wait till late season because I just enjoy the challenge more. Ended the season with an unfilled tag, passed a few decent bucks up and tons of does. Hopefully the buck I have been watching for three seasons now will show up next year under my stand. He should be a dandy by then. Here he is in the fall. Not quite a shooter yet,, But next year
