laminated stock handis

stopped by a local sporting goods store today, to get a set of scope rings,they have a very long wall of long guns,100's on the wall, no handi rifles, i asked the man did they have a handi rifle he said maybe in the back but not out front on the wall,he went to the back came back with a new in box cinnamon laminate stock with limted edition gold coin in the stock, they have in stock 25/06,270,30-06,308,280,all these have laminated stocks with gold coin in stock, price was 269.00 plus tax, i dont need it but i going back monday a get a 25/06.

quick, i may wait untill next month deer season closes here february 1st., i am hunting now with my handi 500 s&w mag,they have a sell after season is over each year, we have one of the longest seasons this year sept 30 1906- feb 1 1907, also i traded for another 270 handi rifle this week,just to get the rifle, will be sending it back for a rebarreling, i do not like 270 cal rifles.

i was watching a old show on tv with my wife and talking to her , the season is sept 30 2006- feb 1 2007, sorry about the dates on the above post,

Any particular reason you don't like the 270's? They have always been a favorite of mine...If you don't like your 270 barrel...I am quite sure you can sell it real easy on our NEF classifieds.. ;)...But...before you sell it...I would suggest you try some 130 grain Federal Fusion ammo thru it..It might just change your dislike for the caliber...

yes you are right quickdtoo,we have a long season here in mississippi,if you hunt all seasons opened this year sept 30 2006 thur feb1 2007 in the north part of the state, south end of state sept 30 2006- feb 15 2007, i live in the north part of the state, we have the new so called muzzle loader law? it is open now handi rifles in 44 mag,38-55,45/70 500sw mags are now muzzle loaders? i have a 500 sw mag, shot 6 point with it today about 85-100 yards one shot is all it takes with the 500 sw mag. i am also a big turkey hunter we also have long turkey season.

mac11700, i have 3 270 rifles they are all great rifles, 1 remington 700 bdl, browning bar grade 1 270, and now a handi in 270, all these rifles are scoped out with good scopes and all shoot and groop good i just like 30 cal rifles, i dont have any thing against 270, i also have 17,223,30-30,7x62,44 mag,444,45/70 all of diff rifles i just like my 30-06 the best deer cl for me.
