Foxpro is as good as it gets, There are several models to choose from and they all will call coyote, fox, bob cat or any other predators. Good luck...........Joe.........

Compared to "every" other caller (digital, or not) out there, it's so much better it's honestly in a class all by it's self in my opinion.

Well, a friend of mine just got his new one. He ordered the whole nine yards complete with the motion decoy. Personally, I think his is just too complicated for serious hunting. Heck, it does everything but shoot the animal for you, and I'm wondering if you could program it for that! :o

I have the 16 sound model with remote(Advantage Camo). It's simple to use, tough, and extremely portable. They make the exact model I have in 32 sounds, but honestly, I rarely use more than maybe 5 or 6 on mine for 95% of my calling.

Where is the best place to purchase one? I too am interested in updating our older caller. Do you guys use in combination with mouth calls?

Example of a FoxPro. A local friend just bought a remote and took it out for the first time thursday morning.
He stopped by my place all excited, he said come look in the back of my truck. I went out and checked and saw 3 coyotes and one real nice cat, he said he only had time to made two stands.
Got a triple on coyotes his first one ever and got the cat to respond within less then 5 minutes on the secound stand.
I told him to get a FoxPro, he wouldn't be sorry.  He was a hardcore hand caller, I told him he'd have many advantages over a hand call with a remote, now he's happy he believed in me. ;)

Jeepman, I made a caller using 30.00 worth of parts from radioshack and my Mp3 player there is a post on here about making your own E-caller. I also used my old speaker. It works very well and beats paying a coulpe of hundred dollars for a new one- Kevin

I also used a MTM ammo box ( dry box ) for the housing Plenty of room for mouth calls and other stuff

a45gunslinger ...

Thanks for the info. That is very interesting. My brother and I have a Johnny Stewart cassette e-caller with a wired remote. It does a pretty good job but we're looking for an upgrade. A friend wanted us to try out his new FoxPro Jack-in-the-box yesterday so we did. We couldn't hear it from 30 feet away. It had good movement but that was it.

Thanks again ...
