quickdtoo,

Where did you find the Burris FF2 for $165.00 at Optic Zone?  Was that a special sale or something?  All I can find now is $204.00.  I know that was 3 weeks ago or so.

Just wondering,

270, that was 3 weeks ago in the "Bargain Zone", the top link on that post, he's since sold it since it's now gone. :'(

270,  I have heard others that have bought the FF II on Ebay for the same price.  Also, several places to buy them with the binos for around $200.  I bought that from Sportsman's WH around Christmas.  Put the scope on my 223 Handi and gave the binos to my son.  The binos are definitely worth $35.

No problem.  By the way, the FFII I got has the Ballistics Reticle which I really like.

I also purchased a Nikon ProStaff 3-9 w/ BDC reticle at about the same time.  Put that on my son's 243.  He likes the BDC on the Nikon, but I really prefer the reticle on the Burris.

I had a $20 off coupon when I bought the Nikon and I think the final price was $126.  It is a GREAT scope for the money.  I feel that anyone looking at sub-$100 scopes should at least look at the ProStaff and see if you can't squeeze out a little more money for a better scope.
