I use the 265 gr. Hornady with 296 in mine. With a near max load of 296 it goe's through the chrono at 2166 fps. The 300 gr. XTP will do 1977 fps with a near max load of 296. I don't have the book in front of me,so I cant give you the exact load.  Digger

The Hornady 6th shows the 265gr bullet using W296 at 26.8gr start and 32.1gr max, 300gr XTP 24.4gr start and 29.4gr max.

Ok Ive got a list of questions on the 445 supermag
How is it improving accuracy if its the bore is oversize not the chamber?
What dies are used to reload the 455?
Can the 44mag be reamed by hand?
Ive been thinking about doing it to my 44mag barrel to get a little more range out of it.

Ron,both the chamber and barrel are oversized, and I don't know how but they do shoot better. The standard 44 mag dies will work just fine. The extra speed must turn the bullet faster, and stabilize the bullet. It gets to within 125 to 200 fps of the 444 Marlin with less powder by about 1/3 .  Digger
