Question on Rebuild/M1 Garand
« on: November 15, 2006, 06:18:08 AM »
Gentlemen,
Does anyone know what the procedure is for test firing the M1 Garand after a rebuild ? How many rounds of standard M2 Ball, proof loads, etc., Before the Rifle is done with its rebuild ?

Warning, before you go to my sites lower your volume as the opening page contains a sound file which has a loading and firing of the M1 Garand. So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control.

Gentlemen you know what to do. Push just a little more TIA. Gentlemen your doing GREAT JOB.

Thanks again
Clancy

TB ORD 366 15 SEP 53, p. 66
24 consecutive rounds without malfunction. Rifles that have been rebarreled will be fired with one round of high-pressure test ammunition.
