I finally got my Hogue
Grind to Fit recoil pad.
What I had to do was put the new pad on the rifle. I used the original top hole and had to drill the bottom hole. You also have to drill through the pad for the screw holes, because they do not go all the way through. I then etched the outline of the stock onto the pad.
Next I used a belt sander and sanded the pad to the size of the rifle stock. This was the hardest part. I found the Hogue recoil pad sanded well with no chipping. And last, I have to give credit to my brother because he did all the work. I just watched.
MV out!
EDIT- For some reason Hogue takes about three days to process your order and about 10 days to get to your shipping address. Other than that, I love their products.
