Time Frame On Barrel Program?
« on: January 30, 2007, 05:25:01 PM »
I'm new to the forum here and looked through the old posts and hav'nt found an answer. But how long can I expect my reciever to be out of comission if I send it in for a new barrel?

I have a SB2 Surviver in .308 h.b. and want to get either a 45/70 or .44. The web site says 6-8weeks but I'd like to know from personal experiance. Sorry if this is a dumb ?

I sent mine last week.
They said 8 to 10 weeks if they have the barrel you want.

Sure would be hard to load a cartridge or eject/extract a fired case or unfired cartridge, not to mention cleaning the barrel.
