New Pro Hunter Rimfire Barrels (.22 and 17HMR) from TC SWEET
« on: January 13, 2007, 01:32:30 PM »
Look up the new rimfire barrels from TC on their website....just wish they weren't 28" long.  Adds nothing in a rimfire, not even the HMR.  Oh well....I will have to add one I think very soon.

They do not make any reference to any adapter or change needed to fire the rimfire, so can I reasonably assume that they don't?

No adapter is needed, that was what I was told.

I would assume the bore is off center like Mike at OTT makes his so the firing pin hits.  Hope Mike got a patend on that idea.

From looking at the pic's the bore is off center. The patent would only be good it someone tried to make a exact copy. Maybe he did not patent the idea.

I put a 15" 22lr pistol barrel on order today.  I was told the bore is off center.  No need for a conversion.  The gun store said it would be about thirty days before I would see it.  I'll keep ya posted on it.
