These picture were sent to me in an email, by a friend:

Maybe once in a lifetime......
Once in awhile there is an opportunity to take in a piece of nature that you may never see.
The photographer of the following photos (Photographer Unknown) was one lucky person.
In these days of unrest and turmoil it is great to see mother nature can still produce some wondrous beauty. The odds of seeing an Albino Moose are astronomical and to see it in MI near Wisconsin are even greater than astronomical but to see two of them is near impossible. We wanted to share these photos with as many people as possible because you will probably never have a chance to see this rare
sighting again.This is a really special treat, so enjoy the shot of a life time. These animals were photographed just North of the Wisconsin Line on a highway near Marenisco, MI.
Thanks to RK for the photos.....

Someone asked if there is anything mystical about this sighting.
I don't know but I do know that I really enjoy looking at them.
I am pretty sure that you have shared a unique experience that they will never see again. ENJOY!

I've seen one before. It was in NW Ontario not far from Thunder Bay. It was about 10 years ago. Sure is neat.

I didn't know we had a road in that good of shape up here. ;D  Neat pictures of the two moose with their snow camo on.

 Good day gentleman, unless I am mistaken I seen this pic about a month ago on "around the potbellied stove".If it is the same pic seems to be a controversy on location. Either way it is a beautiful picture of something that is worth seeing and admiring. Have a goodun...Bill

Good day Sir, the post I referred to is on pge 3 in 'round the potbellied stove.the title of the topic is "quite rare photo would you shoot". the location there said was in lanial Quebec, 65 miles north of north bay ontario, near lac kipiwa. It was posted Dec 29.

They are great pictures and I would love to see them in the wild but you can just not beleive everything you see on the web, I searched albino moose pictures and found many articles like this one claiming the pictures in many different locations,

Had to edit this last statement for I was wrong. I was able to get the date and time the photos were actually taken by finding the original uncropped picture the one with the car dash in it and copying it to my computer and going to its properties summary you can see it was taken by a FinePix S3100 on 4/23/2006 at 12:51pm

Does it matter who, when, or where these pics originated from? I just thought others would enjoy seeing some of God's handiwork?

I've wondered about these photos.  A friend forwarded the same thing to me from Wisconsin.

I believe its a fact there are white moose in Denali (McKinley) National Park in Alaska but I think they are not albino - eyes are brown.  Every few years one shows up and they occasionally make it into the news paper or local magazine. 

I've never seen a picture of 2 such animals before.  That's pretty neat in itself.

I looked at these pictures close wondering if they were really from Alaska but I can't tell.  The vegetation looks similar to some found in AK.

About 8 years ago I shot a piebald deer which is mostly white, you could see it from a half mile away.  I still have the pelt hanging on the wall.
