NEF Sportster .17 HMR
« on: January 24, 2007, 08:53:53 AM »
This rifle has an NT serial number so I believe it was made in 2003. Does it have an ejector or extractor?

Thank you for your help.

I have one and it has an ejector. If that is what you want, and most prefer, fine, if you want to convert it into an extractor only that is an easy modification, you can even do a temporary modification with a small piece of folded cardboard that allows you to go to an ejector at any time (instuctions for both conversions are in the FAQ's). With the new extractors only you would not be able to convert it to an ejector, yet, I believe some here are working on that now. I am sure however that your NT Sportster reciever originally came through as an ejector....<><.... ;D

Mine is an NV (2005) and it has the ejector.   I would think the 2003 would have the ejector.
